According to George Anderson's comparitive study of 9' 5weights, this is the best new rod out there. I have the 9' 4wt and I love it. These things are stronger than steel, lightweight, load at all distances. Incomparably smooth. One of our best selling rods of the year. The 8' 4wt is softer than you'd expect, but try to overpower it: can't be done. The six-weight is made for streamers. A fantastic tool from a company that is up and coming in America, but is the fly fishing supply company for the rest of the world.
