The GPX is a classic SA taper though now it's offered in the Mastery Textured Series. Kind of like diet Sharkskin. A little quieter through the guides, and a lot quieter on your hands. The GPX is a half-size heavier line. This is good for folks who have difficulty getting the rod to load. Love this for throwing skunks and hoppers late in the season. In willow.
