The highly-anticipated replacement to the NRX, the NRX+ and the NRX+LP are two very different rods. The + is much faster than the original, with tons of power in reserve. It definitely benefits the high-line speed caster. The LP is softer, but can still carry line across the river, and it is the choice for us on the Au Sable. The LP can handle floating lines and streamers, it can fish tricos, and is very easy to adjust distances.
