We use wood duck...lots and lots of wood duck. From full on split wings to just a few fibers to give our nymph shucks some segmentation, wood duck factors into nymphs, mayfly, caddis and stonefly dries. Throw some fibers in with your CDC wings. Use as stand-alone tails. A must-have on our fly tying benches.
